Sorry it's been so long! The pre-market frenzy got the best of me!
We returned yesterday right in the middle of the big storm. It took forever to get home from the airport because of flooding, accidents, and tree branches in the road. When we finally pulled into the driveway and hit the garage door opener and the garage door didn't budge, I knew immediately it was trouble! We always come and go through the garage. I started carrying a house key a couple of years ago when I was locked out of the house by a power outage, but my husband doesn't carry one. Unfortunately, I left my keys at home while I was in Houston. So hubby had to run off to work and I sat in the car and listened to the pouring rain for three hours! He eventually came home and managed to take apart a window and get us in the house. It felt great to finally be home!
Market was exciting! We saw lots of friends and met many new ones. We arrived on Wednesday and immediately started shopping for the booth. Thursday and Friday were setup days. Here are a couple of photos of where we started and the progress we made on the first day.
On the second day of set up we focused first on our photo wall. The booth is small (10 ft) so you can really only show a few of the quilts. With the photo wall we were able to show almost all of our patterns. We had a lot of the quilts folded on the rack and were able to show them when anyone wanted a close look.
This is our new block of the month “A Graceful Baltimore.” It took center stage on the back wall of the booth. Rouenneries, by the French General of Moda is featured.
I’ll be back soon with more pictures!
Thanks for stopping by,
I love "A Graceful Baltimore"! It's one of the most beautiful quilts I've seen...wonderful use of French General. I am curious what greeen fabrics those are that coordinate so wonderfully with it.

Your A Graceful Baltimore is so beautiful, Denise!
We're garage people too... and learned the hard way to carry a key for power outages. But it took me two lessons! So I had a light bulb moment... I bought a "combination" lock box at Lowes. And that has practically paid for itself already. Otherwise I'd be on lesson #9 by now.
